What a feeling when you wake up on a Sunday morning and the photographs you took a mont ago of the coolest kid in Nigeria are in The New York Times!

Usman, 13, is already making headlines. He fled his town in northeastern Nigeria when it was attacked by Boko Haram. He was out of school for a while, but thanks to the International Rescue Committee, he is back at it and dreams of becoming a doctor “because if you help others, they help you.”
